My Mom first taught me to sew so I could make doll clothes. Since then, I've been creative in many ways: knit, crochet, cross-stich - you name it! But when a friend asked me to help her make jewelry for her new business, I truly found my niche. I now specialize in beautiful freshwater pearls. The lustre! That's what gets me. And the colors! I really enjoy coming up with new & interesting color combinations.

I designed my own bracelet toggle because I couldn't find just the right one anywhere. I love its clean, curved lines. I use the best quality findings that I can either source or create.

I used to be a Customs Broker before deciding to stay home with our children. I loved being home, but after several years was looking for something to do that could fit into my stay-at-home life. Making & selling jewelry fit perfectly. As the children grew, I was able to devote more time to Bliss Designs. Now I have some stores selling my things, and would love even more wholesale accounts. I also do a few local art shows and even work on a few of my own charity events. I'm happy to say that since 2003, we have raised over $40,000 for local groups such as a woman's shelter, Gilda's Club WNY, Literacy Volunteers, a Theatre and more. You can read more about it here: http://blissdesigns.net/press/. We raise money by having each artist donate 20% of sales during a special event.
