Bead giveaway: Vintage Beads from Europe

***Free Stuff Alert***

Do you remember me telling you about a business called Vintage Beads from Europe?  Well, the owner, Vente Viteikaite has made it possible for us to have a giveaway here on Beading Arts!  The packets of beads that you see above are up for grabs...except for a few of the beads that I've used for projects over the past few weeks.  Just leave me a comment below telling me how crazy you are about vintage beads and you'll automatically be entered to win.  If you tweet or post on Facebook or other social spots about the contest, you can leave a second comment and be entered twice!

Please make sure that your link will lead me to an email address, or else I won't be able to contact you.  No contact, no win, and I simply have to go on to the next person.  Deadline: November 9, 2011.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE vintage beads. I used some vintage beads from some of my Mother's and Grandmother' necklaces to make gifts to give away on a trip a year or so ago. Still have a couple pair of the earrings left. I'd love to win some more vintage beads to design with.

You should know how much I adore vintage beads by those cabs I sent you during Bead Soup. I have a small stash of them and they are my most prized bead. I would dearly love to win that stash to add to my prized collection.

I am obessed with vintage jewelry, clothing and way of life. I had originally planned to work in a museum with the vintage apparel and educate people about the history of the apparel which would help explain our history. I currently use my grandmother's costume jewelry and repurpose it into modern jewelry. Sometimes I find pieces that need no change. I would love to be able to incorporate other vintage beads into my OOAK creations!

I've always been happiest when there is something very individual going on in my attire and/or designs. We say so much through what we create and our personal presentation. With stunning vintage beads like these I am drooling on the keyboard thinking of people and designs that would be like matches made in heaven. Thank you for the opportunity to receive such a unique stash, and even just for the inspiration for being able to see some inspirational variety. Greetings from "down under" :)

Vintage beads provide so much inspiration for new work with different and exciting colors and designs. Vintage beads seem to have more texture and detail than newer beads.
