Book review...sort of: Showcase 500 Beaded Jewelry

I feel like it would be a conflict of interest to plug this book when I'm featured in it!  But then, so are quite a few of my friends, and none of us have been paid to do so :-)  It's an honor for me just to be chosen to be included in a Lark Book.  I am an Amazon affiliate, though, so I might actually earn a few cents if you buy the book through my site.

That said, I spent a delightful evening leafing through Showcase 500 Beaded Jewelry, and I plan to do it again more slowly later.  Lovely stuff included.  Here's my piece that is in there:

Blossoms of the Moonlit Waves

Wow...stunning work...the book looks like it would be great for those who do this kind of intricate bead work.

cheers

wow that is a lovely very hard to make looking necklace, so much detail and small work, my eyes would not handle it, I have so much respect for people who work with small beads...
the book looks lovely too, I have to check it out...

I really want to buy this book -- so many friends of mine are featured in it! I have this silly idea that I can have all of you autograph your pages. :)

LOL!! It's made the same way you eat an elephant...one bite at a time. I made each component separately, and then it didn't seem so overwhelming :-)

Oh my goodness - that is one spectacular necklace! (and definitely worthy of being in the book)

Hi Cyndi, This book has some fabulous works of art by just about everyone in the beading community. I have truly enjoyed perusing. However I am stuck on page 256. Maybe you will recall doing a review on my work the first time it was published in Bead & button, and maybe someone will recognize this piece as mine? or at least a design credit should have been given. I am truly heartbroken....

Aleta, I sure do remember it. I loved the stitch, and it solved a design problem for me back when you first shared it. I'm so sorry that the artist overlooked giving the design credit. I doubt it was intentional, but it still hurts.
