If you've read Beading Arts for any length of time, you know that bead embroidery is my constant passion. Other beading techniques come and go through my life, but I always seem to come back to bead embroidery. I realized recently that we've never had a month devoted wholly to bead embroidery, so now's the time! Our gemstone and pearl month has kind of extended into the beginning of August, so it might end up being that Bead Embroidery Month flows over into October...so be it :-)
If you are a fan of bead embroidery too, please let me know so that I can include your work this month too. Beginner, intermediate, expert...wearables, non-wearables...we want to see it all! Please send your artist statement of one to two paragraphs, and up to three images (72dpi res) of your work, along with a link to your site to cyndi @ mazeltovjewelry.com (remove the spaces).
